Underground Mine lighting series LEP

The underground mine lighting series plasma light source is a continuous full spectrum, with a spectral wavelength range of 295nm-1800nm, of which invisible light accounts for 30%. The LEP light source has high brightness, the same color temperature as natural light, and a color rendering index of up to 97, with excellent color rendering performance. The ultraviolet light and infrared light in the LEP light source are the same as sunlight, which has the benefits of improving the immunity of workers who work in underground mines for a long time, antibacterial effects, improving skin health, promoting the synthesis of various vitamins in the body, promoting blood circulation, accelerating metabolism, benefiting human eye health, and benefiting physical and mental health.

1.1. Characteristics of LEP spectrum

The proportion of the red, green and blue spectrum of the LEP light source is almost the same as that of sunlight, which is a continuous full spectrum. In addition, the color temperature of LEP is the same as that of natural light, and the illuminated objects are displayed as clearly as under the sunlight during the day. It has the characteristics of excellent color rendering, constant color temperature, extremely low light decay, no flicker, high brightness, strong fog penetration, energy saving and high efficiency. Therefore, LEP light source is very friendly to human eye health.

1.2. Physical characteristics of LEP light source

LEP light sources all use high-purity quartz bulbs with extremely high light transmittance. They are resistant to high temperatures and can be used for a long time at 1100°C without bursting. Their safety performance is higher than that of ceramic glass bulbs.

With excellent natural heat dissipation performance, the integrated LEP light source (including amplifier, power supply and lamp holder) can keep the temperature as low as 58℃ (room temperature @ 32℃) during long-term operation.

The radiant heat of LEP light source during operation is significantly lower than that of LED.


1.3. Application advantages of the Underground Mine Lighting series LEP

The working environment of underground mines has low visibility, bad air, humid environment, and lack of sunlight. The dark, damp, and narrow space are prone to breeding bacteria and mildew, inducing rheumatoid arthritis and affecting physical health; there is no natural light, and it mainly relies on artificial lighting. Due to the complex internal structure of the mine, it is difficult to evenly distribute light, resulting in reduced visibility. Long-term work can easily cause eye fatigue, decreased vision, and even major safety hazards; long-term lack of sunlight can easily lead to endocrine disorders, vitamin D deficiency, decreased physical fitness, slow reaction, and easily cause anxiety.

LEP light sources have the advantages of high brightness, good color rendering, and color temperature consistent with sunlight. They can provide underground mines with a comfortable all-weather sunlight lighting environment, and have a certain bactericidal and disinfecting effect on the air in confined spaces, greatly improving the air quality in closed places, and inhibiting the frequent occurrence of physical and mental health diseases such as damage to the eyes and respiratory system, depression, and calcium loss caused by long-term exposure to poor indoor air circulation and poor lighting.

The power density of the LEP light source irradiated by LEP-S-300-V25095-04 reaches above AM1.5 (≥1000W/m2), the irradiation intensity reaches above 1.0Sun, the light energy reaches 25714lm, and the light energy efficiency reaches 103lm/w. The spectrum matching, irradiation stability and irradiation uniformity with sunlight can reach the AAA level of the international standard for solar simulators. After 50,000 hours of continuous use, the luminous flux still remains above 80%.

2.3. Heat dissipation requirements of LEP light sources

A) Power supply cooling

If the LEP power supply is external, the power supply shell itself can meet the heat dissipation requirements. If the power supply is built-in, the heat dissipation must meet the requirement that the temperature rise is less than 35°C under a 25W heat source.

B) Power amplifier heat dissipation

The power amplifier (microwave solid-state source) must meet the requirement that the temperature rise is less than 35°C under an 80W heat source.

C) System cooling

When the ambient temperature is 30°C, the shell temperature of the entire LEP system must be kept below 70°C to meet safety regulations.
